DJ Khaled's opulent former residence in South Florida has recently been listed on the market for just under $17 million, showcasing his famed sneaker room among its many luxurious features.
Priced at $16.39 million, the extravagant estate, once owned by the renowned We The Best founder, boasts exquisite 14-karat gold chandeliers adorned with Swarovski crystals. One of the standout attractions of the property is the dedicated sneaker room, which previously housed over 500 pairs of DJ Khaled's prized footwear collection.
Despite parting ways with the mansion several years ago, remnants of DJ Khaled's legacy still linger throughout the property. Visitors will find traces of his iconic We The Best logo embedded on the floor of the sprawling 1,000 square foot sneaker sanctuary.
Back in 2015, the "God Did" hitmaker initially acquired the mansion for just under $4 million, investing an additional $2.5 million in renovations to tailor it to his lavish tastes. It was during this makeover that DJ Khaled added the famed sneaker room along with a state-of-the-art movie theater, elevating the property's allure even further.
Among the mansion's notable amenities are a chef's kitchen, five generously sized bedrooms, seven opulent bathrooms, and a meticulously crafted wine room, ensuring a luxurious lifestyle for its fortunate occupants.
In 2018, DJ Khaled took his real estate portfolio to new heights by acquiring a magnificent $25 million mansion in Miami Beach, expanding his property empire even further. Additionally, he made headlines with his purchase of Robbie Williams' Los Angeles estate for a staggering $10 million, complete with a recording studio personally crafted by the British pop sensation.
Despite his penchant for luxury real estate acquisitions, DJ Khaled has not been immune to financial setbacks. In a candid admission, he revealed his brush with nearly losing his home due to ill-fated investments, underscoring the unpredictability of the business world even for the most successful artists.
