Rick Ross Continues Real Estate Expansion with $37 Million Star Island Mansion

Rick Ross, the 47-year-old rapper, has expanded his real estate holdings by acquiring a luxurious $37 million mansion in Miami. The new property is situated on the prestigious and guarded Star Island, an enclave off Biscayne Bay known for housing various A-list residents.

Spanning a generous 40,000-square-foot lot with 100 feet of waterfront, the mansion boasts 12,374 square feet of living space. Ross, popularly known for hits like "Rich Is Gangsta," worked with real estate agent Kimberly Knausz from ONE Sotheby's International Realty and his sister, Tawanda Roberts, a real estate agent with Florida Realty of Miami, to seal the deal.

Featuring six bedrooms, eight and a half bathrooms, a chef's kitchen, and a bay-facing primary suite equipped with dual walk-in closets and bathrooms, the property is an opulent retreat. The outdoor amenities include a heated pool, a summer kitchen, a 40-foot dock, and direct bay and ocean access.

Knausz shares insights into Ross's attraction to the property, stating, "He instantly fell in love with the grand entry — it has a very long driveway stretching towards the mansion that creates an air of real luxury. The architecture also played a part, as it’s far beyond the ordinary modern home, and he plans to enhance it to reflect his personal style."

Describing the high-profile acquisition as "a major piece to the puzzle" in Ross's real estate portfolio, the rapper continues to build an impressive collection of properties. Notably, he already owns a 45,000-square-foot, 109-room mansion in Fayetteville, Georgia, named "The Promise Land." This grand estate, situated on 235 acres, gained recognition as a filming location for the 2021 movie Coming 2 America, serving as the stand-in for Prince Akeem Joffer's (Eddie Murphy) palace.

Ross's latest real estate move reinforces his position as not only a hip-hop icon but also a savvy investor with an eye for luxurious properties. The rapper continues to shape his real estate empire, adding distinctive pieces to his collection.
